Tissue Flower

Here's an easy project which is perfect for Spring, Mother's Day and Feria

This is easy to make and looks effective.

Materials
-Coloured tissue paper
-String
-Scissors
*If using for Feria, you could attach hair grips to the string to use as a hair decoration
Stage 1
-Use 1 sheet of coloured tissue paper (usually around A2 size)
-Fold into quarters so around A5 size
-Cut the folded edges off so you have several sheets of tissue paper
Stage 2
-Place all sheets of tissue paper on top of each other
- Fold in a fan style (fold 2cm, turn over, fold another 2cm, turn over, etc...)

Stage 3
-Once folded, trim the edges in a rounded shape
-Fold in half
-Tie string around the centre fold (to secure and hang up)
 Stage 4
-Open out the pleated tissue paper
-Separate the different layers which will make a 3-D flower

And that's it! Use the string you secured it together with and hang up, featrure on the front of a card or use as a hair decoration
