Feria Card

Here's a Pop-up Card to celebrate the Feria

This can feature Feria vocabulary if used in a lesson. Write the words under the pictures. You could feature the front image and pop-up section or simplify by using just one idea.
Materials
-A4 coloured card
-Card for inside image and images on front of card (A5 size for pop-up image and 2 images on the front of card)
-A4 paper photocopy to cover the pop-up folded part (this is a quarter of an A4 piece of paper)
-Stickers for messages (optional)
-Basic materials: pencil, scissors, glue (prittstick), coloured pens (board markers are ideal)
-Stencil for inside pop-up image (optional)

Stage 1
*If used in a class, you could use the stencils provided. Print out or draw on card

-Draw around 'dancing girl' stencil or it can be pre-drawn/printed
-Cut out
-Decorate (you can use a white circular sticker/piece of paper for the face if the card colour is dark)

Stage 2
-Fold A4 card in half
-Measure (and pre-draw if for a class) 2 x 5cm lines across the fold
-Cut the lines
-Fold back and push inwards

Stage3
-Glue the front square of the pop-up part
-Place 'dancer' image (flat and face down, with the bottom of image against the folded pop-up part)
-Press to secure glue
-Open ...and it should pop up
If there are any problems with this part, check the Pop-Up Card video for more instructions  http://craftwithjack.blogspot.com.es/2012/09/pop-up-card.html

Stage 4
-Make Feria image stencils (if used in class) or draw freehand
-Cut out
*Or just write and draw on A5 piece of paper (you will need to make a front cover to disguise the pop-up folded part)
-Glue onto front of card
Stage 5
-Write message on the inside of the card
*This can be written on a piece of white paper or use a sticker to simplify

You can use double pop-up parts, too...
