Easy Flower Card

Here's an easy card idea to make for Spring, birthdays or for any occasion.

This is quick and easy to make and uses accessible materials, too.
Materials
-Coloured card
-Kitchen cloths
(usually a yellow colour but I found these in different colours)
-Card for stencil
-Extra card/cloth, etc for inside of flower (I used cheap, foam cupboard drawer lining)
-Any other decorative materials or excess card to decorate
-Small coin or circular object
-Basic materials: pencil, scissors, 'prittstick' glue, pen
 Stage 1
-Make a flower stencil (if featuring more than 1 flower) from a piece of card
-Fold coloured card in half (You could cut to fit the size of an envelope first)
-Draw around flower stencil with a pencil onto the kitchen cloths
-Repeat this until you have the amount of flowers you want
-Cut out
Stage 2
-Place flowers on folded card to place in position (any pencil lines should be on the underside)
-(Optional idea) Stick a rectangle of decorative wrapping paper to the front of the card first
-Glue the back of the flowers and stick to card
Stage 3
-Draw around a small coin or round object onto excess card/wrapping paper/kitchen cloth
-Cut out and stick into the centre of the flowers
Stage 4
-Add your message and decorate!
You can add leaves behind the flowers or a rectangle of wrapping paper to add to the design ...or keep it simple by just using a metallic pen for edging and message.
