Father's Day Card

Here's an idea to celebrate Father's Day.
19th March 2013 in Spain.
16th June 2013 in the UK and the US.
This an idea for an easy and effective Father's Day Card or Birthday Card. Based on the Tuxedo Card idea for New Year
http://craftwithjack.blogspot.com.es/search/label/Tuxedo
on this blog (and inspired by ideas from Art Attack http://www.disney.co.uk/disney-junior/art-attack/)

Materials
-A4 coloured card
-White paper (A5 size)
-Decorative paper (wrapping paper, for example)
-Basic materials: scissors, ruler, glue, coloured pens, etc
-Extra card, circular stickers or off-cuts of the decorative paper for the buttons
*You could use real buttons and material (for tie/hankerchief)...you would need PVA white glue for this rather than 'pritt-stick'.

Stage 1
-Stick white paper to centre of coloured card (the size of the paper should be cut slightly thinner than A5 size in width so the 'jacket lapels' can overlap).
-Fold (use a ruler to get a straight fold) the 2 outside edges to make jacket front.
-Fold top corners back to make 'jacket lapels'.
-Cut a triangle shape out of edge of 'lapels'.

-Draw on shirt collar with black pen. Add shirt detail if desired.
-Cut out and stick on tie and hankerchief detail.
-Add buttons. Draw on any stitching detail with pencil.
-Add message on the inside.
