Spring Display

You can use individual elements for quicker, easier crafts.

-Flowers, Bird...Spring!

Materials

Paper plate

Lolly stick

Coloured paper for bird wings

Coloured paper/tissue for flowers

Ribbon

Brown crayon

Black pen

Scissors/Pritt stick glue/tape

Instructions

-Stencil plate

(display structure and bird shape)

-Draw basic bird shape on off-cut/centre of plate

-Cut out. Cut through the bird perch to cut circular shape easily then tape back together

-Cut slit vertically at the base of the bird

-Pleat a rectangle of coloured paper

 (around a quarter of  a folded A4 size)

-Insert into the slit on bird and glue in place

-Attach bird and draw/colour beak and eyes

-Decorate and glue lolly stick as a perch

-Decorate the arch of plate with flowers,

leaves, butterflies, etc

-Hang with ribbon
