Calendar 

                    An easy idea for a calendar.

Or use as a frame as a gift.

Materials

-CD/DVD cover

-Materials (shiny paper, doily, wrapping paper, whatever available...)

-Coloured card/paper for back of design

-Calendar print out (from google images depending on year ..print small)

-String to hang

-Basic materials -scissors, pritt stick glue, ruler

Stages

-Cut coloured paper to fit the CD/DVD cover (draw around the original insert of CD ..slightly smaller or around 12cm x 12cm).

-Cut 2 squares to fit, for top left, bottom right., and glue.

-Choose a design for summer, spring, autumn, winter...I made leaf/flower and circle stencils.

-Cut and stick on, each motif for the 4 seasons.

-Glue small calendar printout inside or on back of CD/DVD cover.

-Add year and decorative string to hang.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Alternatively, you could use this idea for a 'frame'.

-The depth in the CD/DVD cover allows for a more 3D design to be encased.
