DVD Fish

Materials
-DVD or CD
-Permanent marker
-Coloured card or paper (A5)
-Eye (or white sticker cut into circle)
-String or blu-tac to put up
-Scissors, pencil, pritt-stick glue, tape

Stage 1
-Draw around DVD on coloured card /paper.
-Then add mouth, tail, and fin details
-Cut out in one piece
 (if students cut the tail, fin, etc separately, you can tape on before glueing on the DVD
-Also draw and cut a fin to fit into the centre of DVD (a triangle shape) from the off-cuts
 
Stage 2
Draw scales on the DVD with permanent marker pen

Stage 3
-Tape string to the card to hang up
-Insert the triangle fin into the centre hole of DVD and tape on the other side
-Use pritt-stick glue to attach DVD to card/paper

Stage 4
-Add eye and decorate the fins/tail
