Easy Gift

Here's a nice gift idea
It looks effective and is easy to make
...no arty skills required!
Perfect as a personalised present
This is an easy gift idea made from any available materials for the collage part and a cheap frame decorated in the same colours
If you prefer not to paint, use the same idea with a clip frame

Materials
-A cheap frame
(mine cost 2 euros)
-Any available materials (Eg. wall paper, wrapping paper, magazines, etc.)
-Acrylic/poster paint (in a similar colour to the materials used)
-Paintbrush
-Scissors
-Glue (Prittstick is ideal)
Optional: metallic paint/pen (or nailvarnish)

Stage 1
-Remove the glass, backing and cardboard insert
-Paint the frame. You can dilute the paint with water to allow the frame to show through like a 'wash'
-You could reverse and paint the cardboard insert the same colour too (optional)

Stage 2
-Use the card insert from the inside of the frame as the backing
-Select the materials you want to use (I used a plastic bag, wallpaper, shiny wrapping paper)
-Cut into strips, squares, etc to fit onto the card backing

Stage 3
-Glue materials onto the card backing
-Add some of the paint (used on the frame) or metallic paint to add texture and detail

Stage 4
-Put the collage, glass and backing into the frame
...And that's it!

You'll have created something unique, personal and individual!
