Day of the Dead / Halloween Skull Craft
Easy and more decorative ideas to celebrate Halloween and 'Day of the Dead' (2nd November)

Materials
-Pencil, ruler, rubber, tape, stick glue, black pen, colours
-White paper plate
-Stick (kebab stick, lollystick..or just a pencil) + tape/ribbon if you want to hang it up
-Decoration (stickers, coloured paper, post it notes, etc)


See visual instructions below-
-Draw horizontal line across the plate (in pencil to remove later)
-Draw 2 vertical lines down sides of plate
-Mark the lower part of vertical line in the middle
-From these points, draw a curved line to create the head and chin shapes
-Turn plate upside-down and draw a heart shape above middle line
-Draw 2 big circles under line (colour black for basic skull design)
-Cut out the head shape
-Add mouth and teeth
-Tape stick to the back of plate
(for a mask, adults can pierce 2 holes in centre of eyes with a rubber and sharp pencil)
For the more decorative 'Day of the Dead' design-
-Draw/colour design in and around eyes
-Add 3 flowers at top of the head -draw/colour or stick on coloured paper
-Draw on hearts and swirls around mouth and chin
-Add lots of decoration and make it original!
